Marta Vann has been a licensed professional counselor for more than 10 years and with A Healing Path since 2015. She earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts with an emphasis in art from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Psychology and Counseling from Northeastern State University. She loves working with people of all ages including families, couples, teenagers, and children, both individually and in groups. She also offers divorce and/or visitation mediation. She utilizes various approaches such as Expressive Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused as well as others to help people dealing with systems associated with grief, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, attachment issues, relationship difficulties or fears, and blended families. She is a Christian and views what she does as a life calling from God, so it is a ministry. Her beliefs promote empathy, acceptance, and healing at every level. She is originally from Bogota, Colombia and was adopted around the age of 3. She was born visually impaired, which glasses do not correct. God has from the beginning and continuously shows her His love and grace in as well as through her life. She knows that with God, all things are possible.
